Poland seeks new defence deals with Philippines
Poland is seeking additional defence partnerships with the Philippines after completing delivery of S-70i Black Hawk helicopters to Manila in August. A senior Polish foreign-ministry official described active interest in expanding government and industrial cooperation, but Reuters did not report a signed new contract, system selection or contract value. The engagement is therefore a commercial and diplomatic initiative rather than a completed procurement. Future deals could build on Poland's expanding aerospace and land-systems industry, subject to Philippine requirements, available financing and formal government acquisition decisions.
