New Russian tanks arrive with upgraded protection
Uralvagonzavod delivered another undisclosed batch of T-90M Proryv and T-72B3M tanks to the Russian Army for the 80th observance of Tank Crew Day. Company footage showed a T-90M with a protection kit developed over roughly two years, including woven steel-cable screening around the turret, additional armour over the running gear, and spring-mounted rubber strips along the hull sides. Recent deliveries have also used anti-FPV-drone nets and electronic-warfare equipment, although the manufacturer did not confirm those features on every vehicle in this batch. Each tank reportedly completes at least a 100-kilometre test drive before shipment; quantities and destinations were withheld.
