Video: Inside Naval Group’s Next-Gen SETIS Combat Management System
Naval Group presented the next generation of its SETIS combat management system during the Euronaval 2026 press tour, outlining artificial-intelligence-assisted tactical decision support and an open software architecture. Proposed functions include automated classification, identification assistance and pattern-of-life analysis using current sensor inputs and historical intelligence to support threat assessment and weapon employment. Virtualized modules are intended to permit software updates at sea, while unmanned-aircraft and surface-vessel data can be fused into the ship's tactical picture. Cybersecurity functions translate detected attacks into operational consequences and remediation choices, with operators retaining decision authority within the demonstrated system approach.
