Serbia opens Israeli drone assembly plant
Serbia has opened a factory to assemble advanced Israeli-designed drones for its armed forces and customers abroad. President Aleksandar Vučić said the facility will employ around 100 workers, while the government and its Israeli partners expect to open at least three more factories in the country. Production details, including the drone models and output targets, were not disclosed because the process is treated as confidential. The announcement confirms the start of local assembly, but the level of Serbian content, delivery schedule, and export customers remain unspecified.
