BOMA 2026: Speartooth LUUV makes appearance in Portugal
Australia-based C2 Robotics and Eurobotics presented the Speartooth LUUV during NATO's BOMA 2026 exercise in Portugal. The demonstrated 12-meter, one-meter-diameter configuration carried two payload modules and used a canister injection system to simulate payload release while conducting an ISR-focused vignette; possible missions also include harbor penetration, delivery, and resupply. Navigation equipment includes a Doppler velocity log, sonar, and an inertial system for GNSS-denied operation, although no procurement or operational-service announcement accompanied the demonstration.
