Ukraine Deploys Stormbird Strike UAS Carrying Glide and FPV Munitions
Skyeton unveiled Stormbird on October 7, adapting its Raybird reconnaissance architecture into a fixed-wing strike system that Ukrainian forces are already using in combat, according to the manufacturer. The platform carries Remora glide munitions and Quadremora FPV loitering munitions, with payload options supporting different engagement methods. Skyeton says it retains similar ground infrastructure and a small operating crew, while supporting autonomous and remotely guided missions. Ukraine codified the system in early 2026, while payload mass, endurance and combat-radius figures for the strike configuration remain undisclosed, despite its use of the established Raybird architecture.
