BAE Systems says it expects a U.S. award covering 2,800 terminal seekers for the THAAD interceptor over seven years, a volume that would require roughly quadrupling current production. The company disclosed the anticipated order during its first-half 2026 earnings discussion and approved an additional $250 million of capital investment in its Electronic Systems business, also supporting AMRAAM and Tomahawk work.
