FORCIT starts construction of new TNT production facility in Finland to expand European explosives capacity and strengthen defence supply chains
FORCIT laid the foundation stone on September 15 for a new TNT production facility in Noormarkku, Pori, Finland. The project is intended to expand European explosives capacity and strengthen the supply of a critical input for artillery shells and other munitions as defence demand rises. Construction has begun, but the announcement did not establish that the plant is already producing material or disclose all capacity, cost and commissioning details.
