Four US Republicans call for Trump to release Taiwan security funds
Four Republican lawmakers urged the Trump administration to release more than $15 billion in security assistance for Taiwan that they said remained stalled. Their appeal came before Chinese President Xi Jinping’s three-day visit to Washington, amid concern that Taiwan support could become leverage in broader US-China negotiations.
