US Department of State approves possible sales of UH-60L Blackhawk helicopters to Argentina
The US State Department approved a possible $140 million Foreign Military Sale to Argentina covering four UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters, two additional engines, and associated equipment and support. The aircraft would expand the Argentine Army's capacity for troop transport, disaster response, medical evacuation, and operations in difficult terrain. Congressional notification permits the transaction to proceed but does not guarantee a signed contract or delivery.
