Ocean Infinity in frame as UK's Atlantic Net mission partner
Ocean Infinity has emerged as the preferred partner for Atlantic Net, the first phase of the Royal Navy's Project Cabot anti-submarine-warfare initiative. Atlantic Net is designed as a contractor-owned and contractor-operated service using autonomous surface and underwater platforms to carry acoustic sensors across wide ocean areas. Ocean Infinity's robotic-vessel experience could support persistent collection without tying up scarce crewed warships. Final contractual terms and operational arrangements remain important, including data security, integration with Navy networks, platform availability, sensor performance, and the transition from commercial service delivery to wartime tasking.
