UK reviews NATO flying schools for flight training
Britain is regularly comparing NATO and international flying schools as it evaluates fast-jet training quality, safety, cost, and pilot output. The Ministry of Defence participates in NATO Flying Training Europe, the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program, and the International Flying Training School. Results from those arrangements are assessed against the combat-air force's requirement for new pilots rather than treated as an announced replacement for the UK Military Flying Training System. The parliamentary answer identified ongoing analysis and benchmarking, but it did not announce a transfer of training abroad, a selected school, new student numbers, or a procurement decision.
