Britain to fund continuous production of CAMM, LMM, ASRAAM and NLAW under plan to accelerate weapons stockpile replenishment
Britain plans to fund continuous production of CAMM air-defence missiles, Lightweight Multirole Missiles, ASRAAM air-to-air weapons, and NLAW anti-tank missiles. Keeping manufacturing lines active is intended to replenish depleted stocks faster, retain skilled workers, and give suppliers predictable demand for components and materials. The approach also reduces the delays and costs associated with restarting dormant production after a crisis. Detailed quantities and schedules were not disclosed, but sustained output across several missile families would improve readiness while strengthening the domestic industrial base and its capacity to surge.
