Army launches 'night court' review of weapons systems

The U.S. Army has launched a two-month 'sustainment night court' review of weapons platforms focused on logistics support, organic repair capability and responsibility for sustaining systems. Army leaders are examining right-to-repair and intellectual-property arrangements, including whether soldiers and Army depots have sufficient ability to repair equipment close to the point of need. The service has not yet determined whether the review will result in systems being retired or abandoned.
