U.S. sends F-15E, F-16 and A-10 aircraft to Egypt air show, linking military display with push for deeper defense ties
The United States will send F-15E, F-16 and A-10 combat aircraft to the Egypt International Airshow at El Alamein beginning September 8. C-130J and C-130H transports will also participate, alongside US Air Force and Texas Air National Guard personnel, in an event expected to feature more than 50 aircraft and participants from over 80 countries. A US pavilion will host more than 25 aerospace and defence companies to promote military and commercial ties with Egypt. The deployment is an exhibition and partnership activity, not an announced aircraft sale or operational combat mission.
