Bell Boeing joint venture works with suppliers to sustain V-22 Osprey fleet beyond 2055
Bell Boeing and the V-22 Joint Program Office are working with suppliers to sustain the Osprey tiltrotor fleet beyond 2055. Their Osprey Working Group brings together 200 specialists from six nations and seven US government agencies, alongside over 35 suppliers, including 14 new participants. The effort focuses on parts availability, component reliability and technical modernization to maintain the aircraft throughout an extended service life. It supports the Marine Corps' medium-lift missions and the Navy's carrier onboard delivery requirement, with supplier coordination directed toward sustaining existing aircraft and their supporting industrial base.
