Stark and MBDA launch Vanta-12/Sea Venom combination to support NATO deterrence requirements
STARK's Vanta-12 uncrewed surface vessel was demonstrated at REPMUS 2026, while STARK and MBDA announced work to integrate the platform with MBDA's Sea Venom anti-ship and land-attack missile. The 12-meter USV is designed to carry four Sea Venoms aft and a ten-cell launcher for STARK's Cascade loitering munition forward. Vanta-12 participated in simulated combat missions at REPMUS, but the Sea Venom integration remains at an early stage, with the companies still working through software and system integration. No live Sea Venom firing from Vanta-12 was reported, so the missile pairing should be treated as a developing capability rather than a demonstrated operational weapon system.
