Boeing KC-46A export deal ceiling jumps to $19.1 billion

The US Air Force raised the ceiling of Boeing’s KC-46A post-production contract from $5.7 billion to $19.1 billion, a potential increase of $13.4 billion. The indefinite-delivery framework covers modifications, regulatory work, upgrades, and sustainment for Japan, Israel, and future foreign military sales partners through April 28, 2035. Boeing will perform the work primarily in Seattle, including changes needed to meet customer and Federal Aviation Administration requirements after aircraft production. The modification establishes contracting capacity only: it orders no tankers, commits no customer to purchases, and had no funds obligated at announcement.
