BOMA 2026: Aerix Systems to integrate AXS- µ1 interceptor with USV

Aerix Systems plans to integrate its AXS-µ1 interceptor drone with an uncrewed surface vessel, creating a mobile maritime counter-UAS platform. The current aircraft reportedly reaches 120 km/h against NATO Class 1 drones, flies for up to 10 minutes, weighs about four kilograms and carries an electro-optical camera. Aerix expects later versions to approach 200 km/h and uses an in-house flight-control system that predicts target trajectories. The BOMA 2026 announcement describes planned integration rather than an operational product, and the host vessel, engagement trials and fielding customer remain undisclosed.
