Counter-drone system to protect British bases

Britain’s Ministry of Defence plans to spend £240 million on Project PRESAGIUM, an enhanced counter-drone capability for protecting fixed military infrastructure. The system is intended to detect and defeat evolving unmanned-aircraft threats at British bases, but the ministry has not identified suppliers, technical specifications, deployment locations, or an entry-into-service date. The investment is separate from £470 million allocated to wider security improvements across the defence estate.
