Danish F-35s make first Greenland landing during NATO Arctic Sentry mission with US and Canadian fighters operating across the region

Danish F-35s landed in Greenland for the first time during NATO's Arctic Sentry activity, operating from Kangerlussuaq after staging through Keflavik. Two aircraft trained with US F-16s and Canadian CF-18s, supported by French tanker refuelling, NATO airborne warning, and Danish search-and-rescue assets. The deployment tested northern basing, multinational command and control, and fighter sustainment in a demanding environment. It also demonstrated NATO's ability to reinforce Greenland quickly, while remaining a temporary exercise rather than the establishment of a permanent Danish fighter detachment or routine Arctic basing.
