Embraer delivers first C-390 Millennium to the Uzbekistan Air Force
Embraer delivered the first of two KC-390 Millennium aircraft to the Uzbekistan Air Force on September 25 at Gavião Peixoto, making Uzbekistan the type's first operator in Central Asia. The 2024 contract includes training, support and spare parts in addition to the aircraft. With a payload capacity of about 26 metric tons and the ability to operate from rough or unpaved runways, the transport can perform airlift, airdrop, medical evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting and aerial-refueling missions across Uzbekistan's large operating area. A second aircraft is expected under the same bilateral package.
