Embraer delivers first C-390 Millennium to Uzbek Air Force
Embraer delivered the first of two KC/C-390 Millennium tanker-transport aircraft to the Uzbekistan Air Force during a ceremony at Gavião Peixoto, Brazil, on September 25, 2026. The contract, signed in late 2024, includes training, support and spare parts, while the delivery schedule for the second aircraft has not been disclosed. Uzbekistan will use the aircraft primarily for transport and humanitarian missions, replacing or supplementing Soviet-era An-12, An-24, An-26 and Il-76 transports as well as the C295W. The C-390 can carry 26 tonnes, fly at 470 knots and accept removable air-to-air refuelling equipment.
