Estonian Defence Forces demonstrate K9-mounted counter-drone jammer designed to improve artillery survivability against UAV attacks

The Estonian Defence Forces demonstrated a K9 self-propelled howitzer equipped with a counter-drone jammer at Tapa during the fifth K9 User Club meeting, held September 2–4. Representatives from seven K9 user nations and more than 200 participants observed the configuration, which is intended to improve artillery survivability against unmanned-aircraft attacks by disrupting hostile control or navigation links. The event showed a survivability concept and user-community cooperation rather than a procurement decision; Estonia did not announce fleet-wide installation, quantities, acceptance testing, or a schedule for operational fielding.
