Finland orders more than 100 Patria TREMOS mobile mortars and secures options for hundreds more in major Army firepower upgrade

Finland ordered more than 100 Patria TREMOS mobile mortar systems and secured options that could add several hundred more. Serial deliveries are scheduled to start in 2026 and continue through 2028, following delivery of pre-series systems in 2025. Patria developed the platform with the Finnish Army and the Defence Forces Logistics Command to combine heavy-mortar firepower with mobility and rapid deployment. The order moves TREMOS from development into large-scale fielding, materially strengthening Finnish indirect-fire capacity and improving responsiveness in combat across dispersed northern operating areas.
