MARTAC to supply USVs to Taiwan Coast Guard

Taiwan's Coast Guard Administration is procuring MARTAC Devil Ray T24 unmanned surface vessels through a partnership with Taiwanese company Confucian and the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology. Initial craft will be manufactured by a partner in Edgewater, Florida, with remaining vessels built by Confucian in Taiwan. MARTAC rates the 8.4-meter platform for an 816 kg payload, a 50-knot burst speed and cruising range of up to 600 nautical miles, with the ability to deploy smaller MANTAS T12 craft. Announced on October 13, the coast guard's first USV program builds on a September 2025 memorandum, with quantities undisclosed.
