MOD details fate of nine removed Chinook helicopters

The Ministry of Defence accounted for nine Chinook helicopters removed from Britain’s reported fleet between 2024 and 2026. Three airframes remain in defense ownership for training and heritage, five are being disposed of under existing policy, and one is retained as a source of structural spares.
