NestAI partners with Saab to integrate adaptive AI into selected electronic warfare systems through its NestOS adaptive operating system

Finnish technology company NestAI agreed to integrate its NestOS adaptive operating system into selected parts of Saab's electronic-warfare portfolio. The work aims to apply artificial intelligence to sensor management, signal processing, threat recognition, and rapid software adaptation as electromagnetic conditions change. A modular software layer could let operators update behaviours faster than traditional hardware-centric upgrade cycles. The partnership does not mean autonomous decision-making has been fielded across Saab systems; performance, cyber security, safety, data governance, and customer-specific certification will need validation before operational deployment with military users.
