Otokar and Leonardo validate TULPAR medium tank's 120 mm firepower in static and moving live-fire trials for international customers

Otokar and Leonardo completed live-fire trials of a TULPAR tracked armored vehicle fitted with Leonardo's HITFACT MkII 120 mm turret. The vehicle engaged targets while stationary and moving, and the companies said the tests met their integration objectives in front of potential international customers. TULPAR supports gross vehicle weights from roughly 28 to 45 tonnes, while the turret can accept either a 105 mm rifled gun or a low-recoil 120 mm smoothbore weapon. The demonstrated configuration also includes panoramic electro-optical sights and can add a remote weapon station, but no customer order or procurement timetable was announced.
