Tulpar firing trials expand Hitfact Mk II platform options
Otokar completed firing trials of its Tulpar Medium Tank fitted with Leonardo’s Hitfact Mk II 120 mm turret. The tests followed integration work covering the mechanical, electrical, electronic and software interfaces between the platform and turret. The configuration is intended to offer main-battle-tank-class firepower on a lighter tracked vehicle, with corresponding trade-offs in protection. The trial involved the 120 mm configuration rather than a combined 105/120 mm installation.
