New Zealand upgrades Army firepower with Saab Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon systems to replace ageing M3 inventory from 2027

New Zealand will upgrade its army firepower with Saab Carl-Gustaf M4 recoilless weapon systems from 2027. The lighter M4 replaces the ageing M3 inventory. The buy improves anti-armor and multi-role infantry capability. It modernizes the NZ Army's man-portable arsenal.
