Türkiye launches defense-focused AI platform EVREN

Türkiye’s defense procurement authority has launched EVREN, a sovereign artificial-intelligence platform designed to support the full machine-learning lifecycle for defense projects. The system provides tools for data preparation, labeling, model training, testing, deployment and operational use, with sensitive data processed on graphics-processor infrastructure located inside Türkiye. EVREN is intended for defense companies, startups, academics and students through controlled access, reducing dependence on foreign cloud platforms while giving national developers a shared environment for building and evaluating mission-oriented AI applications across the national ecosystem at scale.
