Tiberius Advances Sceptre 155mm Ramjet Munition Into Allied Production Under 500 Million Deal
Tiberius Aerospace announced a $500 million technology collaboration contract on October 1 to manufacture, license and distribute its Sceptre precision-guided 155-millimeter ramjet munition through a U.S.-UK partnership. The company designs Sceptre for existing NATO-standard artillery without launcher modification and claims a range exceeding 140 kilometers at speeds above Mach 3. The agreement expands the program into allied production and technology-sharing arrangements, linking U.S. weapon development with British engineering and manufacturing participation. These performance figures remain manufacturer-stated design objectives, while production quantities, customer allocations and operational delivery dates have not been disclosed.
