U.S. Army Successfully Integrates Three Electronic Warfare Systems to Detect and Disrupt Enemy Communications
The U.S. Army demonstrated an integrated electronic-warfare architecture linking three systems during August trials at Aberdeen Proving Ground with the 11th Cyber Battalion. Engineers connected the Tactical Development Kit, Tactical Radio Frequency Application Chassis and Warped Alloy software to detect, analyze and respond to unfamiliar radio-frequency emissions. The combination uses software-defined processing and AI-assisted signal identification to accelerate development of non-kinetic effects against adversary communications and other emitters. The event marked the first demonstration of the three elements operating together after roughly a year of integration work, rather than an operational fielding or procurement decision.
