U.S. Space Force awards L3Harris $150 million contract to modernize space surveillance and ground systems

The U.S. Space Force has awarded L3Harris Technologies a $150 million contract to modernize space domain awareness (SDA) surveillance sensors and associated ground control systems. The contract covers upgrades to existing ground-based optical and radar tracking infrastructure used to monitor orbital objects and detect threats to U.S. satellites.
