US Army demonstrates C-UAS capability in India
The U.S. Army's 11th Airborne Division demonstrated the Mobile Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defeat System to Indian forces during September's Yudh Abhyas exercise. The M-LIDS event took place at the Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan, where U.S. personnel practiced rapid deployment and integration in high temperatures and airborne dust. Indian Army personnel examined external components and discussed counter-drone tactics, techniques and procedures with their American counterparts. The activity supported bilateral familiarization and interoperability in detecting, identifying and defeating small drones, without establishing an Indian acquisition or technology-transfer agreement.
