US clears way for $24.3 billion military aircraft sale to Saudi Arabia

The US State Department approved a possible $24.3 billion Foreign Military Sale to Saudi Arabia covering 48 F-35A fighters, 49 Pratt & Whitney engines, and associated equipment and support.
