US Navy Seeks 'Seabed Superiority' in Undersea Warfare Push

The US Navy is formalising a 'seabed superiority' concept to protect undersea cables and pipelines while denying adversary access to the seafloor. The push includes new UUVs, sensor networks and dedicated units. It responds to increasing Russian and Chinese seabed activity.
