US Navy’s next-generation fighter decision to be unveiled soon, sources say
The US Navy has reportedly chosen a winner for the F/A-XX next-generation carrier fighter and is preparing an announcement. Boeing and Northrop Grumman have been the principal publicly identified competitors for a program expected to involve tens of billions of dollars over its life. The aircraft is intended to add range, survivability, connectivity and coordination with uncrewed systems beyond today's carrier air wing.
