Lockheed Martin CEO says F-16 deliveries resumed, with 119 Block 70/72 fighters in backlog and 2026 output set to rise
Lockheed Martin's CEO has confirmed that F-16 Block 70/72 deliveries have resumed following earlier production disruptions. A backlog of 119 aircraft remains to be fulfilled across multiple international customers. Production output at Greenville, South Carolina is expected to increase through 2026. The Block 70/72 variant features the AN/APG-83 SABR AESA radar, advanced avionics, and a conformal fuel tank option.
