Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded a contract to develop a Space-Based Interceptor prototype under the Golden Dome missile defense architecture. The award marks a concrete step toward fielding a space-layer intercept capability as part of the U.S. layered missile defense strategy. The prototype effort will explore technical feasibility for intercepting ballistic and hypersonic threats from orbit. This is one of the first known industrial contracts tied directly to the Golden Dome program.
