Hermeus Scaling For National Security Missions With $350 Million Financing Round
Hypersonic aircraft developer Hermeus has raised $350 million in a new financing round to scale operations and accelerate development of its Mach 5-class aircraft platform for national security applications. Hermeus is developing a reusable turbine-based combined cycle (TBCC) propulsion system targeting speeds between Mach 4 and Mach 5 for ISR, strike, and rapid transport roles. The funding will support continued engine testing, vehicle integration, and government customer engagements. The raise signals strong investor confidence in the commercial and defense hypersonic aviation market.
