Belgium Procures TRIDENT Mine Warfare Systems for Ukraine via Exail

Belgium has ordered three TRIDENT systems from Exail for transfer to Ukraine under a contract worth nearly €9.9 million. TRIDENT, or Tactical RHIB for Identification and Disposal of Explosive Naval Threats, is a rigid-hull boat system used to support mine identification and disposal missions, including deployment of K-STER C expendable vehicles. The 24-month contract will provide Ukraine with a mobile platform for operations in mine-contaminated waters.
