Bradley’s Old TOW Launchers Get New Teeth With Spike Missile Adapter
Rafael USA and Leonardo DRS presented an adapter enabling vehicles with existing TOW launchers, including the Bradley, to fire Spike LR2 anti-armour missiles at AUSA 2026. The solution supplies mechanical and electrical interfaces between the missile, launcher and vehicle, with additional onboard electronics supporting the weapon's functions. It builds on a Project Convergence 2021 demonstration and is intended to retain the installed launcher and gunner station with limited vehicle modifications. The companies are offering the integration as an upgrade option for TOW-equipped platforms, but have not announced a US Army fleet-wide adoption or a production contract for Bradley conversion.
