Germany Funds Tens of Thousands of Quantum Systems Interceptor Drones

Germany will finance several tens of thousands of Quantum Systems interceptor drones manufactured in Ukraine under its winter 2026/2027 military assistance package, announced in Kyiv on October 4. Developed by Quantum WIY Industries, the interceptors are already used to protect cities and critical infrastructure and integrate with Quantum Systems' MOSAIC UXS mission software. The funding will expand Ukrainian production as Russian attacks increasingly employ faster, jet-powered drones, while a separate agreement covers testing and procurement of interceptors for those threats. The exact quantity, drone configuration, contract value and delivery timetable have not been disclosed.
