HAL begins HTT-40 deliveries, and completes Tejas Mk.1 trainers

HAL has delivered the first three HTT-40 basic trainers to the Indian Air Force under a 70-aircraft contract. It has also delivered the final two Tejas Mk1 twin-seat trainers in Final Operational Clearance configuration, completing the original 40-aircraft Tejas order. The milestones advance two separate indigenous aircraft programmes rather than marking completion of a new trainer variant.
