Milrem aspire to lead allied UxS integration bordering Russia

Estonian defence technology company Milrem Robotics is seeking to position itself as the lead integrator for allied unmanned and autonomous ground systems deployed along the borders with Russia, according to Army Technology. Milrem's THeMIS unmanned ground vehicle is already in service with several NATO nations and the company aims to leverage this installed base and its proximity to the eastern flank to consolidate its role in allied UxS integration. The ambition reflects broader NATO interest in fielding unmanned ground systems to reduce risk to personnel in forward defensive positions.
