NSPA introduces direct ordering for Italian NH90 engine support with first operational orders under Avio Aero contract

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency processed the first operational orders with Avio Aero on September 3 for T700 TE61 engines supporting Italian Army and Navy NH90 helicopters. The orders implement a Support Frame Contract signed by the NATO Helicopter Management Agency and Avio Aero, with execution overseen through NSPA's N@MSIS electronic material-support system. Customers can access technical and commercial information, place orders directly and track progress through invoicing. Orders pass electronically through the NSPA Automation Portal, where contractors review and accept them before managing delivery and invoicing, extending automated support arrangements for Italy's helicopter fleet.
