TKMS and EDGE Explore Collaboration on Underwater Protection and Surveillance Capability

TKMS and the United Arab Emirates' EDGE Group have signed a memorandum to explore joint underwater surveillance and protection capabilities. The companies intend to assess an integrated, multi-system architecture that could combine sensors and other technologies to build a comprehensive underwater operating picture. Signed during a UAE state visit to Germany, the arrangement creates a framework for technical discussions and potential joint development. It does not announce a procurement programme, customer order, contract value or delivery schedule, so any resulting system remains subject to further evaluation and subsequent agreements between the partners.
