U.S. Navy buys first HFORCE backup radios that skip satellites

The US Navy ordered the first production HFORCE high-frequency radios, creating a long-range communications option that does not depend on satellites. High-frequency signals can travel beyond line of sight through atmospheric propagation, providing a valuable backup when satellite links are jammed, disrupted, or unavailable. The radios are intended to strengthen resilient command and control across widely separated naval forces.
